Rooting Your Android
What is root?
Root enables an android user to explore more advanced features of their android device, giving them a bigger potential to use. By default most of the android devices are not rooted, this is due to the hazardous effects if inexperienced people start playing with it. But rooting can be done easily on almost all major android devices, you can think of it as jailbreaking android but not on a deeper level as jailbreak and root are not the same but provide almost the same concept.
Here are a few things you can do with rooting your android:
-Remove bloatware
See those useless apps on your phone, well some of them you can't uninstall, for example, in Samsung devices, there is the (useless) Samsung app store, well try to uninstall it, see, you can't, root your android and it will go.
-Manage system apps
Do you want to REPLACE your apps with others, usually you can only install them but with root, you can uninstall and replace. For e.g if i dont like the music app that comes with android, i can uninstall it and replace it with play music or any other alternative. You can also FREEZE apps and convert any app into system app.
-Apps that require root permission
Some apps require root like Titanium backup pro which allows you to backup your app and data. also some apps like ViperFX, a cool android equalizer requires root for the best music quality.
-Customization
You can change Everything in your phone from the boot animation to the fonts to the status bar, you name it, and there is an app for that called ROM Toolbox pro that's the best. You can customize your phone in any way you want.
-Free Coins
Have that game but you can't get enough coins, stuck on one level, too many ads, if you root there are apps that will help you accomplish all these and much more.
These were just a few uses of rooting your phone, there's many more you can discover browsing the net.
To start with you can head over to the famous XDA Developers, search for your phone model and continue from there.
Note: You WILL void your warranty if you root your device, I will not be responsible for Bricked devices and broken phones. Do it at your own risk.
